  Ocean and Coastal Maritime Vessel Operations and Maintenance

              C-Port is an experienced and highly professional small boat repair and maintenance company. Whether it is mechanical, electrical, or hull work, C-Port has the capacity to analyze your special needs, design the required modifications and modify the vessel. C-Port also operates extensive routine maintenance operations in support of special purpose craft ensuring 100% operational availability. C-Port maintenance operations include small-medium steel, aluminum and fiberglass boats, trailers, tractors, and other special purpose equipment. The crew provides day to day repairs, preventative maintenance and full scale vessel modifications to support specialized missions. C-Port’s project team has consistently maintained 100% vessel availability since June of 2003.

Port and Harbor Operations

C-Port Marine’s staff has over 20 years experience in marine operations and is an excellent resource for port and harbor operations. From the management of port security to ship’s visits and facility maintenance C-Port has the expertise and capacity to get the job done. C-Port can operate the customer’s equipment or bring purpose built vessels of their own to manage the operation.

Vessel Manning and Support Services

C-Port operates and maintains three multi-diesel, jet drive, high speed passenger ferries operating daily to provide service of transport of the crew from the Navy ship’s to the home port.

Shore Side Vessel Maintenance Support and Maintenance Facilities Operations

C-Port operates the small boat shop that supports the Mammal Training Center. The shop is responsible for the repair, modification and maintenance of 41 small boats, over 100 outboard motors and a variety of ancillary equipment used in the training of marine mammals. When new OEM boats are received by the Navy, they typically are not ready for immediate use. Our boat shop designs the required modifications, builds the components, installs the appropriate Power units and completely outfits the boat making it ready for full operations.

Fast Patrol/Security Vessels and Operations

C-Port has been escorting both surface and subsurface vessels in and out of harbor using high speed 54’ catamarans with Navy security teams embarked. When potential threats appear C-Port’s security escort boats position themselves between the protected vessel and the potential threat ensuring the security of the larger ship.  These vessels are operated and maintained by C-Port captain’s and crew and support each location’s security plan as required by the governing agency.  This capability can include non-military high value assets such as cruise ships, tankers, passenger ferries and other ships requiring protection from terrorist elements.  Security teams may be provided by local law enforcement organizations, security specialist firms or by C-Port.

Maritime Logistics Support

C-Port’s crews man and maintain a special purpose 180 foot vessel to install and repair buoys and bottom recording units for Deep Ocean Assessment and Recording of Tsunamis network. C-Port coordinates the logistics’ of receiving new buoy systems.

Marine Training and Professional Services

C-Port is an experienced provider of afloat assets in support of Air/Sea Rescue training. C-Port provides a 41 foot utility boat and crew on full-time charter to the US Coast Guard Air Training Center in Mobile, Alabama.
