C-Port has over two years experience in the post 9/11 world escorting high value water-borne assets protecting them from terrorist attack.  C-Port has been escorting both surface and subsurface vessels in and out of harbor using high speed 54’ catamarans with Navy security teams embarked.

When potential threats appear C-Port’s security escort boats position themselves between the protected vessel and the potential threat ensuring the security of the larger ship.  These vessels are operated and maintained by C-Port captain’s and crew and support each location’s security plan as required by the governing agency.  This capability can include non-military high value assets such as cruise ships, tankers, passenger ferries and other ships requiring protection from terrorist elements.  Security teams may be provided by local law enforcement organizations, security specialist firms or by C-Port.
